Comice is the 4th version of Pear Linux which is a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu. The target of Comice OS is to give a Mac OSX look for Linux users. This OS dosn’t have just OSX themes… It have a lot of new features and apps to give you a reall OSX eperience.
The latest Comice OS 4 is based on Ubuntu 11.10 and also have some bits from the upcoming version 12.04. It have the Linux Kernel 3.2. Main new features of this new release :
- Comice OS Shell (Gnome shell modified for Comice OS)
- Pear Appstore (A feature rich software center)
- Skype
- Libreoffice
