Mozilla have already started to work on a metro version of their browser for Windows 8. The new design will take Firefox more closer to Google Chrome. But, when you look closer, it’s really different.
In a recent conference, Mozilla have demonstrated some mockups which might be used in their upcoming versions. Madhava Enros have posted this presentation for the public.
In the Metro app, the address bar have been taken to the top of the tab replacing the title. The tab is now big to fit the address bar. The whole interface has received a lot of round edges. Now it looks smooth!
The presentation also have mockups for the Android version. There’s also a version called Australis. Some say that it’s a unified UI for all the platforms. I’m not sure about it…
Still there’s no official statement about these designs. Also, they are mockups. So, they’ll change in the final design. So, what do you think about these mockups?
