Few months ago, we reported that Google is getting ready to buy Motorola. Now, its official. Google have closed the deal for $12.5 billion. Motorola is one of the leading mobile phone manufacturers and they are the ones who made the very first cell phone!
According to Google, their primary goal is to get their hands on the vast amount of patents Motorola have. But, this is also a good opportunity for them to release their own Android smart phone! They have immediately replaced the current CEO of the company Sanjay Jha with Dennis Woodside. So, things are going to get really hot in the smart phone industry!
