The ICS Based CyanogenMod 9 Becomes Stable!

Cyanogenmod 9

After a long development cycle, the most famous custom Android ROM steps into the ICS world. CyanogenMod team have started to work on the 9th version of their ROM as soon as Google released Android 4.0. Now, they have finally started to release stable builds of CM 9.

Are they too late? Already Google have released Android 4.1 and the CyanogenMod developers have immediately started working on CM 10. But they didn’t wont to leave unfinished business behind them. So, they just finalized CM 9 and now going to work full-time on CM 10. Already the developers have started their work on the new version and I already use it on my tablet. Its pretty stable for me and I hope there’s only little work left before they finalize it.

Currently, there are a small number of devices which still need to get stable with CM 9. They’ll be added soon and CyanogenMod 10 nightlies will pop-up in their servers! So, get ready!
