Gauss Infections by Kaspersky
Things are getting more serious! Recently, we saw highly complex and dangerous malware infections like ’Flame’, ‘Stuxnet’, and AC/DC. Just now, the Kaspersky virus lab have discovered another deadly virus which can be extremely harmful just like Flame!
The new virus is not an evolution of Flame and the others. It stands in its own and the developers know exactly what they are doing. It seems to be very complex and powerful. According to Kaspersky, it will harvest your login details and browsing information even if you use a portable browser. It’s hard to trick this guy.
The most interesting fact about this new threat is, it installs a new font in your system called “Palida Narrow”. It’s a mystery to why it’s doing this but if you have that font, you better check your system for infections.
Another interesting fact is, Kaspersky have detected this pest mostly in middle east areas! Check the map attached above… Sometimes, it can be a government-funded project. Who knows… They never talk about their creators! We have to figure it out!
