Surface Tablet

For the first time in history, Microsoft is going to produce their own hardware. A cool tablet powered by the upcoming Windows 8 platform. Some Microsoft hardware partners (Specially Acer) doesn’t like this idea. But I think they are not the only people who should be afraid!

According to the latest rumors, the new Surface tablet will be released on the 26th of October and it will be priced at $199! Waging war against Kindle Fire and Nexus 7? Those two Android tablets are the most popular devices on earth. Their price and the powerful OS are unbeatable. But it looks like Microsoft is trying to take them down with their new tablet.

The new tablet seems to be very impressive but its OS is not much popular among mobile devices. Windows Phone 7 didn’t manage to make a good market while Android went to rule the smartphone world. Now Microsoft is trying to put the new Windows 8 and their new Tablet against Android! Will they succeed? Will they lose both the PC and Tablet markets because now they are focusing less on PC users?     Well a few days back I read that they might cost upto $900… but now this is really shocking and amazing !! Wish it comes at that cost :)

    If this is going to be true then this tablet market is going to shoot up like NASA rocket  because price is the one last factor which is stopping lots of people to go for tablet a Post PC product . I wish the news will come true and we will have 10 inch tablet in such low price .

    I think Microsoft is using the release of its tablet as market survey to know whether to really go to it in full. I could remember when Microsoft was trying to be producing its own mouse. But when it realized the market demand for it was not okay, it stopped it.. I know that Microsoft has been successful in term of software. But hardware lets wait and see.
