Happy? You should be! Many people complain about the missing start menu in Windows 8. That’s the place we all used to start our work! Now, Microsoft removed it and force us to use their modern UI which is deigned for tablets. Not for PCs! It’s just one problem… Windows 8 have many issues like this. In here, Samsung might come into our rescue!
Samsung does a lot of customizing to the underlying OS they use in their devices. Take Android for an example. Samsung does a lot of heavy customizing to the whole system before giving it to the user. Now, according to the latest reports, they are going to do the same thing to Windows 8 based devices which they are going to sell in the future.
According to Mashable, Samsung is planning to introduce a new desktop widget named S Launcher which will be our start menu. It looks exactly like the old guy. You can access your programs and the settings through this menu. It saves a lot of time. I like this idea… This will make Windows 8 Samsung devices more popular because every one need this!
But there’s one little problem… It’s not integrated to your task-bar. It will be added as a separate launcher which might take some space from your screen. If you can work with that, you’ll buy a Windows 8 device from Samsung! Am I right?
