Groove Shark is a service which will allow us to enjoy music online. Its a huge collection of songs. Most of the service is provided free of charge. Recently, it faced some legal issues directed by Universal Music. They claimed that Grooveshark is responsible for determining the copyright status of all pre-1972 recordings. Because of this, Google removed Groove Shark app from their Play Store.
Grooveshark won this case. But still Google didn’t add their app back to the play store until now. Previously, you had to download the app from Groove Shark and install it manually. But now, its back in the Play Store! You can now safely download that app without any issues. But still, there are many legal challenges for Groove Shark to win. Hope they’ll come clean!
