Kaspersky’s new Windows 8 UI : Kaspersky Now

Kaspersky Now

Recently, Kaspersky introduced the new 2013th version of their security suit. Its Windows 8 compatible. But not completely! They have introduced the last piece for the puzzle as a free download from the Windows 8 store. Kaspersky Now!

Now Windows 8 have 2 UIs. The new Metro UI (Modern UI) and the old desktop system. App developers have to write seperate versions for each desktop. Some answered this problem by building completely different apps for the two systems. But Kaspersky have introduced a better approach. You have to install the security suit in the old desktop UI and they’ll offer  a small app for the Metro UI which is only an interface to the actual program! Good thinking! Its fully optimized for touch based systems and provides a complete interface for you to control the whole security suit. So, what do you think? Want  to try it?
