In a recent interview, Apple’s Co-Founder commented about the new iPhone and the ongoing patent war. Recently, an US court declared that Samsung have copied Apple’s iPhone. Apple have patented every single curve of their devices and now accusing their rivals for breaching their design patents! That’s how they want to come to the top… Not by introducing game changing feature or changing things in their new devices!

“I hate it,”…  I don’t think the decision of California will hold. And I don’t agree with it — very small things I don’t really call that innovative. I wish everybody would just agree to exchange all the patents and everybody can build the best forms they want to use everybody’s technologies.

Wozniak wants a more open world where people can exchange their patents freely and build better things based on the existing stuff. According to Apple, no one can improve their technology and introduce it in a better way. If they discover something new, no one else can have it! I think I know what will happen if they are the first people to discover the light bulb! No innovation… They’ll keep releasing the same thing agin and again without letting anyone else to improve it. iBulb 1… Have a yellow glow… iBulb 2… Have a more tuned yellow color (with retina display)… iBulb 3… Longer than iBulb 2…

If Steve Jobs has been alive, I don’t think the case will go to court. This is going to disturb technology improvement if everybody is claiming patents like Apple
