Walmart, one of the world’s largest retail stores have just announced that they are going to stop selling Amazon devices! The reason is clear… Amazon is one of their biggest rivals and the with every Kindle Fire, Amazon becomes stronger!
The Kindle Fire can be easily used to shop at Amazon. So, Walmart took a decision :
We have recently made the business decision to not carry Amazon tablets and eReaders beyond our existing inventory and purchase commitments. This includes all Amazon Kindle models current and recently announced.
It might slow down the Kindle but I don’t think its enough to stop it. Kindle Fire is one of the most popular tablets on earth. The main reason people buy it is the price. You’ll get an excellent device for only a small price. But according to Reuters, with this announcement, Amazon’s stocks went down (a little) and Walmart stocks went up a bit!
